A Strong Swedish National Defense

This session explores the contribution of wind power to strengthened national defence, reduced import dependency and reduced vulnerability through domestic and decentralized production of electricity and fuels. Through discussions on increased coexistence and possible common steps forward, we explore how these efforts can influence the future deployment of wind power and the electrification of society. In addition, we highlight how security of supply can be strengthened through new technological innovations in wind power, and what opportunities this provides for increasing the resilience and sustainability of Sweden’s energy system.
