RED II, simplifications, and consumer flexibility

The Energy Markets Inspectorate’s operational plan describes the challenge of skills supply and an increased workload – how does the Director-General see processing times developing going forwards? It states that greater awareness among industry and consumers would strengthen incentives for user flexibility. How is this to be achieved?
Last May, the Energy Markets Inspectorate was also tasked with investigating what is required to implement those parts of the EU’s revised Renewables Directive which affect grid connection, simplifying notifications and own-use of renewable energy. What additional tools are required? And what does the Energy Markets Inspectorate have to say about the market for system services, which is also up for discussion during this year’s VIND seminars?
