Release of SWEA’s latest statistics and forecasts

According to WindEurope’s annual statistics, Sweden is the hottest market for wind power in Europe, and larger investment decisions have been made in Sweden than in France, Spain and Denmark combined. The rapid Swedish expansion in recent times is equivalent to around one half of a nuclear reactor per year, and this means that the electricity certificates system has been full for some considerable time. Investment decisions have ensured that the Swedish Parliament’s target of 18 TWh of wind power by 2030 has already been exceeded. In this session, the updated statistics from the Swedish Wind Energy Association are presented.
”What are the latest figures on the expansion, and how do they affect the updated forecast?”
