Swedish Energy policy

Representatives from the newly elected parliament

Broad agreements, clear political frameworks and defined goals have all set the stage for substantial investments in and expansion of renewable energy. Decisions in the Swedish Parliament will play a large role in the coming mandate period. The Swedish Energy Agreement holds steady, but what kinds of energy policy does the new parliament want to promote? Will politics change to facilitate additional expansions of wind power, or will other energy sources be prioritized?
