Requirements to reach the goal

During 2018, the 30TWh of renewable energy target within the Swedish Energy Certificate System is expected to be reached, given current rates of investments. In a completely renewable system, wind power in Sweden needs to match the output of Swedish hydro power, around 70TWh. If this expansion is to take place without the support system of Energy Certificates, access to favourable turbine locations and wind conditions along with a modern energy infrastructure will be crucial for sustainable growth.
In this session experts from business and public authorities will discuss how to improve processes for grid connections and permissions.
