Storage and ancillary services

In only a few years’ time wind power will be the second largest source of power production in Sweden. Following this, its role and responsibility for the energy system at large increases. One exciting development in this area is the production of hydrogen power next to the wind energy park, which would increase flexibility and help balance the electricity grid. Another is the provision of ancillary services from wind farms, a use of technology which is in on the rise in Sweden.
